Any advice in locating a planet with gold?
As the title says, i'm trying to locate a planet with gold resources, so i was wondering if i should explore specific colored systems or just randomly jump until i find one

Gold is very common so pretty much any Yellow star system will likely have at least one planet (if not more) with gold deposits.

also you can get gold shooting at Asteroids :)

Sure, you could do the whole statistical analysis thing to figure out what your chances are of striking it lucky under any given circumstance. You could also look for water instead.

Pearls are practically made of the stuff.

More seriously, the table linked below suggests red or blue, in that order.

It's common enough that I just jump till I find it. I try to pick systems with at least 4, preferable 5 or 6, planets, just to improve my odds.

That's what I do to find nearly anything, other than the stellar elements (Cadmium, Emeril, Indium.) For those I obviously need to go to red, green or blue stars.

Any exotic planet will do. Red star systems have the highest chance for exotic planets, blue stars the intermediate, and green or yellow stars the lowest chance.
Any resource should I think be able to be 'pinned' as a mini mission from the in game catalogue. That should place a general mission marker on the galactic map, spotting a nearby system (or the current system) where the resource may be found.

This too is probably the most immediate for small amounts. : D Also you can blow up freighter cargo pods sometimes for gold and then run to safety if you want to avoid a sentinel battle.

Any planet with Metal Fingers (always Gold and Uranium).
Any planet with Floating Crystals (both resulting Magno-gold and Grantine will refine to large quantities of Gold).

Can you pin Gold in "Materials and Components " .
After pinning "Planet with Gold" becoming your mission .
You will see on screen message about it.
When you get on Planet - mine a lot of Gold.
Well..
Unless I missed something.

I don't know how to do this from the Galactic Map, and setting "Gold" Pinned from the menu will enter a Log for you to mine asteroids.

BUT: Exotic planets that have only one life form with the unique items (Reality Glitch) that can be picked up, mostly have the metal your after.

So if you enter a system via warp, your going to be looking for the Biome specific trait from scanning via your ship or System wide with your Freighter for planets most assuredly better referenced than I can summarize here.

Side note: I prefer
"Hydro Garden"

Edit to add: No Man's Sky Resources has a page on the Reality Glitch's and some portal codes, it you dig down the page.

Go to ie. green system and scan waterless grey crater like planets/moons, often limited to max 4 types of resources like silver, gold scrap metal etc. Usually they are barren with scales and symethtical object shaped flora and fauna.
They are pleasant planets weatherwise.

You can refine crafted alloy materials. They produce large amounts of silver, gold or platinum. In most cases it is more profitable to refine them before selling.

You can buy alloys from trade terminals, find in floating crystals, in underground crystals, or in large quantities from secure deposit sites (they are easy hit and run).

Gold is a common secondary mineral on exotic planets, (those planets with the mysterious ring structures scattered about), and airless planets. Here's a typical example where I built a 100K unit mine during the Aquarius expedition, (you can see a ring in the distance):
