In-game recipe book for the nutrient processor
I like making new recipes with the nutrient processor, but I really would like some kind of in-game recipe book so I don't have to resort to a website every time I want to make something complex. And it can be done similar to the blueprints. We can learn new recipes by buying them or just experimenting with the ingredients.

Check out the in game Catalogue. That's all I ever refer to. If you do this on Creative mode it shows everything. If you hover over most items in the catalogue the items or resources needed to make things can be pinned as a temporary mission to the log book and will make finding things easier by pinning locations to the galactic map. : D

hmm, didn't think that worked for food items...
But from what I've seen, the catalogue only shows one of the possible methods to produce something, not all of them...

Catalogue & Guide > Materials & Items > Cooking logs products (accountdata.hg)

Catalogue & Guide > Recipes > Cooking Recipes logs combinations (*save*.hg)

The former is shared across all save slots that aren't Creative; the latter may only be filled out by tossing ingredients into the processor to see what happens irrespective of mode.

It would be nice (and a lot more fun) if you could stumble across recipe books when searching through POIs. Each would add one recipe to your Discovery listing. Currently, the only workaround is to try to find station missions that offers one of the meals as a reward.

I once tried to make all the recipes and it just got to be way too tedious. If there was a way to pick up recipes during exploring it would fit better with the core game play and actually be fun instead of tedious.

Me parece una idea genial

I might never say, "Permadeath" again... it is so much more elegant in Spanish.... Muerte Permanente!

edit: I have no idea why my post is inside the quote... i can see the formatting while typing this and it is not... got it. sneaking extra "quote"
