Disappearing grass

So im on my starting planet, flora is listed a normal, iv tried world detail on all settings and what happens is ill see some grass rendered in the distance but as a approach that area all the grass disappears

wot are your in-game graphics settings and your rig specs?...
it maybe as simply as your rig is struggling to render the scene at the requested settings

As mentioned already it happens on all settings

...well i'm no expert but your rig is higher spec'd than mine... i've never personally experienced NMS in all it's digital glory (potato PC here) but i also run with mods... the rendering in NMS is a bit 'fake' meaning faraway objects (grass coverage being one) don't always equate to the same when close... also i always run with a grass fix mod... so there is that

The only bug I see is an old one where you approach a small island with one or two trees and upon getting closer, they dissapear.
