At what instant am I supposed to reel in?

At what instant am I supposed to reel in?
I have caught one fish only and not sure why.
I am fishing in water, line was not even baited.
I am trying to click as quickly as I can when the water splashes, and nothing happens.
Except for one fish and it was uncommon.

Each cast you will see three fish circle your lure. One of them will start nibbling. It can hit three or four times before it is actually hooked. Each time it nibbles, the line will glow yellow. When it is hooked, the line will glow green and go tight.
That's when you haul it in.

Mind you, it's not always it tightens up .. if you are in rough sea or in a storm it won't do that .. but as smurfy said .. it WILL turn green .. then just hold leftclick until it's hauled in.

to clarify: you can haul it in when you notice any of the following...
a) when the float/bobbin gets pulled down under the water
b) when the line colour changes to green
c) when the line between the rod and the float/bobbin goes straight/tight

ah, its because you are repeatedly clicking lol you are letting go of the fish each time you release the trigger/click , you see: you have to keep the mouse button pressed down like you mean it the moment the fish goes under with the floater and the line goes taut and you onley want to let go until the fish is in your invetory XD
You have about 2 to 3 seconds to click so don't react trigger lol.... hell you could even react trigger now that I think about it! XD : it does this little cute splash with the floater like you where taunting the fish bouncing that thing around XD , but you have to do a fast click n release otherwise you reel the line in and you only want to do that when the fish hooks ;p

I finished the expedition a few hours ago: the stupid catch a scorch type fish gave me a run for my money, got stuck there for most of the expedition searching for a scorched planet with water so much so that I LOST the damn Aangler's solar system XD
