Fourth Breach will not work

I have drank three elixir of quicksilver and went to those portals and it will not let me offer Elixir of blood. Can anyone help me with this?

Do you have the elixir of blood that matches the icon of the mission in your inventory when you activate the portal pedestal? That is all that I did...and make sure the mission is selected as the active mission on the log too I think.

I really think all I did was make the elixir of blood that matched, drank the elixir of quicksilver and followed icon to the portal. Parked the ship, walked up to pedastal, hit 'E' and all the dialog unfolded and I was told to enter the portal. If that is what you are doing, I can't really help. There are a few other posts on the forum that talk about this as well. You might check those. I would reload the game and maybe try a different portal and maybe a different planet even? I think mods have interfered with this one but to double check there are other posts in the forum covering that. Good luck!

All three time I open the portal it wants me to enter an address. It does not give me the option to offer the elixir of blood with the whale symbol

Did you try a different planet? I see someone that had that solve this problem for them on Reddit. Try having two of the elixirs of blood in inventory. That worked for two others.

I am having this exact same problem.

The portal pillar opens up and it prompts me to either power up all the symbols, or prompts both for the current planet address and to enter symbols.

I'm stuck. I tried backtracking, going elsewhere, nothing works. Hitting up a random portal location, drinking, reloading, etc.

Fly into space, drink another quicksilver, and fly to the new portal. Have the correct blood elixir ready. Make sure you do this with the milestone selected. That should fix it.

For anyone having this issue with Portal's I suggest the following:
Remove ALL Elixir's of Blood from your inventory, drink 'em, sell 'em, whatever have NONE.
Now land on the planet YOU want to use for the Portal
SELECT THE CORRECT MILESTONE from the Expedition
Craft and drink an Elixir of Quicksilver
Craft the Elixir of Blood that the game offers you to craft (very 1st item)

VERIFY THE CORRECT MILESTONE from the Expedition

Apologies... I'm at a loss for how to further help :(

I guess try loading a different save, wait a minute or so and then save and exit the game. Relaunch and load your Exp save... literally grabbing at straws here :/

Oh another thing to try, complete a different milestone, if you can.... 🤞

I wish I could do another milestone but all I have to do now is the fourth and fifth breachs and make and drink the water and done.

i forget which one i had this problem with... i stood beside the terminal with all the comm balls hanging about... when i first opened the terminal, the text was wrong... i tried once or twice more and it worked... i've noticed that it takes a few seconds for many of the internal scripts to run at times...

like when doing the base building quests and you already have stuff the Overseer is wanting... i've seen it take 30+ seconds before it tells you to return to them to turn it in and i've been standing there the whole time just waiting... they only thing i can figure is the engine is slow processing the "scripts" or they have built-in timers to delay things... like the text boxes when talking to NPCs that you cannot speed through...

Had a similar experience w/the 5th portal. I pointed my Atlas Staff at it, threatening to shoot it... and, well it switched over to the correct name & function. Feed it my blood and was done.
