Ah need some help locating the whereabouts of "Paraffinium" in Exp 16. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

It's a resource you can mine, look at each planet in a system and it will be listed if available.

I don't recall that being needed for Exp. 16 though?

Correct - none of the Elixir's required Paraffinium.

Regardless, it almost always listed as a resource on Paradise worlds, like this

You can also offer to trade with NPC ships visiting space stations. Some of those sell it.
