Anyone have a great planet for juicy grubs?
I decided to knock out the last of the brood head unlocks but i'm having fits finding a planet with any (much less many) juicy grubs. Wish I'd done it all while still on the Liquidators expedition...or at least built a base on the planet where I did a few.

Anywho, grateful in advance for anyone that has some portal coordinates. I know the planets are out there, I have found some when I wasn't actively looking. . .

I'd even settle for knowing if there is a specific other resource or planet type they can be found on, so I could pin it to find them. I tried pinning "Juicy grubs" but they aren't a pinnable resource. :(

Brood planets or brood mother, try looking for those

That's what I've been doing with no luck so far. I'll keep trying. Thanks!

what was that new planet or system type? Dissonant is one and there's a new one that came with the grubs and the Brood Mothers...

yeah... all i can find on the wiki results in Vile Brood Planets... i think it tells in the Galaxy Map, too... like Dissonant is...

I've been to 8 "Vile Brood" planets so far with no grubs and I know for sure I stumbled on grubs on a non-vile-brood planet at one point around a week ago, so I was hoping there was something else I was missing.

Yah, I hadn't really cared about it either until this new expedition gave us a cosmetic head. At which point I noted I was still missing 3 of the head cosmetics you can get from those. I have OCD and one of my triggers (in games) is lock icons...so now I pretty much have to do it or I won't be able to stop thinking about it.

maybe check the (6) reddit threads that come up in this search?

RNG seems to be biggest culprit... one permadeath player reports they show up more on storm crystal planets during the storms and near the crystals... i only glanced at the first two but they're all within the last 3 months...

Yah, I read the top 10 results on reddit when I searched. None of them had any useful details so I stopped reading there.

I did just try a slightly different search by adding "portal" to my search parameters and I found a thread with actual portal coordinates to a planet where someone else got all the unlocks. Portaling there now to try it!

Update:
This planet is perfect. Lots of grubs and it's a nice, relatively flat landscape. And it has the long-neck fauna I don't see often enough as an added bonus.

Posting this in case anyone ever searches for the same thing and this thread comes up.

2nd Edit: I also just learned that they show up on the area-scan of the minotaur, which I think has a slightly longer range than the visor.

Not grub related, but I used the egg sequencer to make that long neck companion as big as the game would let me, and it's freaking HUGE. I had no idea any companions could be grown to that size.

My character is to the right, about halfway between his front right foot and the edge of the shot for a sense of scale. You can barely see my character though, he's like a little tiny spec.

Also got all of the brood heads unlocked now. Thank you to those that helped.
