Looking for someone with the "Sell Crew Manifest to Scrapdealer" Bug!!!

So, my gf and I played the derelict freighter content for the first time a few days ago and we could not sell one single manifest out of 9.

We kept them on us just in case we find a solution and behold, suddenly it worked.

Ive searched through the internet, Ive been to the ruins of Google, whats left of Reddit and found nothing on Steam, only ALOT of people having the same issue for the past 4 years, never a solution. But I think I found something.

Heres the catch tho, I dont exactly know what happened or what the fix was so I would like to try a few things, if someone with the same bug would be interested.

What you can try real quick is my second guessed solution, for that go into the anomaly, save and quit the game then load back in and make sure your sell Mission is activated in the log before you leave. In theory this might send you to the system, you could sell your logs and manifests in the space station, as I got randomly thrown into a system from the anomaly and from there I suddenly had the quest marker on the scrap dealer. If it is that easy, we have our fix.

The other thing is , my first guess, that the Mission is inherently corrupted and is not saving the correct mission giver, meaning once you finish your freighter, the game doesnt remember that you got the mission from your current system and is reverting back to some fallback system.

Now, this option sounds bad, but if it always jumps back to a universal fallback system, I found it. So if the first mentioned fix doesnt work, Id ask that you add me on Steam and then join my game to see if you can sell it in that system aswell.

Another small thing I will test as soon as I get on the game is, have the mission activated in your log and then see if it plots you a route on the galaxtic map if you chose the "mission" filter. That would at least mean my theory about the fallback system could be right. I will keep this post updated, travelers. o7

I have the same issue, I have basically have a bookstore of crew manifests now.

I am play this game a ~1.000 hours. I did all expeditions and I have this issue a long, no, a very long time. I like this game, but I change my review post to negattive trying to take attention about this bug. I suggest all ppl do tthe same. They didn't do anything because the game has high review rating and why they fix bugs if the game are selling like water in the desert? NMS now is a BETA test for the new game, maybe they will never fix it if we do nothing!!! I will be happy to change again my review as soon as this bug is fixed.
