Yup, time to get back to it I think, and hope lol
Possibly slowed it yeah, but remember its not individual, So your 25 sites could be 0.2% for example. Once more people start doing it again it should speed up.
Yeah I know I need to chill but after spending six of the last eight hours watching the number go down instead of up. I will have to wait untill my head gets cooler to decide.

being ahead of the times/the curve has it´s price, more patience
Yeah I know the feeling, give it a day or two then come back to it. Hopefully the community challenge will be less wonky by then.

If enough people had their games "ended", and their data on the servers also got cleared by this, it might be able to cause the numers to drop their part of the progression.
My POV is why even bother doing impossible stuff which is not getting fixed asap.
for me its an uninstall because thats what i do on steam :)
When its fixed then reinstall, that easy m8
Im thinking its pretty cheap and hilarious, especially the reward. It's like here you idiots love to grind, now you can grind for nothing. Yes the one thing I never want to see again, give me that.
Currently standing on 59% .... So until they change this dumb mechanic, move your behinds and get that progress bar rolling.... I want to finish this expedition in time.
Im not too sure there are many game developers who I would consider developers.
To me Developers are like the architects who come in and build your house,
Developers wrote Havok, Developers wrote Unitiy, Developers wrote the Unreal Engine.
These Game Developers, are more like the interior decorator you hire to come in pick out the wallpaper, drapes, and sofa colors. And then you want to burn down your house and move.
Game developers may be software developers who write code, but not limited to that only, game developers including game designer(not programming related, they are designers), system analyst/business analyst(who will translate ideas to programming diagrams, logic diagrams), project manager, director, testers, graphics designers, etc...
Now, considering the fact that game development team including multple teams, backgrounds, ages, ethnics, mindsets, miscommunication, human errors are not the preventable/avoidable here, and human cannot cover millions lines of codes, unlimited scenario cases when testing, the final release of a product cannot avoid problems, which our specialty calls production bugs. You should be glad when they can deliver a stable build to production. Many developers delivered non working, unstable(to the point of trash), full of bugs builds to production, or some dictator big tech calls bugs "features" and "innovations", hiding away their faults.
I'm in fact a system analyst and programmer myself. And I can confirm that even it is a urgent bug, blocking issue; the team has to clarify, keep reproducing the case to the point that they can have the specific scenario of the case, then the scenario will be passed down to the designer team to identify which part is problematic and then the real dev team will finally traverse through the codes to find out what is the culprit, fix it in the internal build then the production team will clarify if the bug/issue is no longer reproducable before let the dev team release the stable build.
Even Microsoft, Google, Apple, Oracle, IBM(still exists, not IBM Thinkpad), Valve, etc making errors in their software products.
Seeing HG screwing their product is not really surprisingly here. Supposingly they do not abandon the game is the proof that they are not incompetent and lazy.
Look at big guys in game development, they tend to abandon their old buggy games and ignore consumer voice. Give them time and space to handle it. Do we know how to do the work of the expert? if we know, why would we call them in, right? We only need to criticize those lazy greedy dictators abandonning their products and ignoring our voices, not those who work their @s off to deliver us continuous contents.
