Help, Exped 12 Redux, can't find exotic planet
I finished all the other parts of 12 but after 5 hours of looking for an exotic planet for the exotic animal I have to give up. If such planet was in a system on my way I missed it. I've warped into at least a hundred systems with no luck. Is there any way to reduce the luck when picking a system to jump into looking for exotics?

There are exotic planets in some of the expedition rendezvous systems. My guess is you just don't know what "exotic biomes" means. Check out this wiki page and read up on all the different varieties (and their names): https://nomanssky.fandom.com/wiki/Biome_-_Exotic

There is a webbed planet in Rendezvous 1 system Obranzi XVII
There are 2 exotics (Breached and Foaming) in Rendezvous 2 system Erkhas

thanks, I find the game to be a little unspecific and maybe can find an exotic now. Under the heading of airless I found a lifeless planet that worked for the picture part. I hoped that I needed similar info for the exotic.
Thanks

Yep, that's always true for any expedition milestone or mission that wants you to take a picture on a planet of type "x". All the missions/milestones care about is that it's the right Biome type, and every Biome has several different potential type names.

The wiki can be useful for looking up all of the possible names of any given Biome, though there is some name overlap. Eventually, once you've played long enough, you just learn to recognize what biome it is based on what resources the planet shows as having when you scan it from space.
