Can't remember the exact names: One was kind of a Groundhogs Day sort of deal where one of the goals is to die. It is difficult to not die and if you do, you keep your progress but wake up back at a staging point and have to get back to where you were without dying again. It was a cool concept but frustrating as hell. I started making personal back ups so I could recover...as a person who usually does not do a lot of workarounds it was the kiss of death (pun intended) for me to ever do that again.
The other was just being trapped on one planet for almost the entire expedition. You had special ship parts that were obtusely hard to repair. Once you finally fix the ship, you go to one new location and the expedition is over. There were base icon garbage because everyone had to have a base on the same planet. The planet was one of those space high mountains with steep valleys so it was a nightmare to get anywhere. It got a little easier once we got the Mech. So bad I actually named my base "I hate this planet". Never again.
Got one interesting photo out of it so there is that.

Rarely.
They're only rerunning the ones released in 2024 in the next couple months. The schedule is posted on their website & in a few places on this forum. Beyond that, we're all just players here, so we don't know any more than you do.
There's 2 ways you can cheat to get the decoration - either swap the JSON file & play offline or you can use a save editor.
I wanted to try the community expedition but the game warned me that is not recommended for 1st time players.
I was concerned about that message so II started solo, with a permadeath setting. I died once but the 2nd gameplay seems to be ok. I managed to leave the original toxic planet and jump to a different star and to find a snowy planet, which are my favorite.
Now I went to the community expedition and feels boring.
So my question is, what benefits those rewards bring?
If I get those rewards, can I use them in future permadeath sessions?
Do they make the game more interesting?
Ah, this helpful person has said the same almost information:
.
Have fun, Travellers!
You can run Expedition 4 at any time Offline (it's not really a mod) easily enough.
