Yes? definitely. Consoles are behind in everything and personally do not understand why people buy them. PC overall is just better option for gaming.

^ that's only true if your PC build has hardware that's better than modern consoles. There's still people trying to game on hardware that's several generations old and the top tier hardware from those generations can still be less capable than budget modern hardware, so it's always going to vary. If you do have a decent build that's fairly modern, then probably yes. Other things that factor into the equation are that PC users can be running a LOT of stuff in the background or on other PC's that will eat into PC hardware's processing and affect performance

Certainly, it's obvious

Depends on your setup. In my case, it runs fine (i7, 3080Ti,32GB) on a 4k Odyssey NeoG7.

Depending on the hardware setup, buying or building a rig does cost more unless you making a potato. PC is more of a tool than a console unit. I am very happy with mine, i did play this game last year with my old PS4 Pro, wasnt happy with it. The controller can be hard to aim and very wonky, not mention got a crappy typical hard drive as well.

So running at 4k resolution with High settings, really happy with it. I have here is i9 cpu (11th generation), multi core at 3Ghz, Nvidia RTX 3060ti, 32GB, SSD on 64bit Wins10

Hard to say these days, but you do get access to mods that can improve the graphics of the game with PC. I never use them, but they can help spice up the look and feel of your game. The downside is they can break or cause the game to bug out when there is an update...which is often.

I know in the past I could tell someone was on console if they posted photos here. They just tended to be more cartoony looking. Very flat and bright colors. HG has done a lot of work since those days and I really don't see those differences anymore.

I do like playing M/KB over a controller. I could see that being a little crazy with all the inventory work we have to do.

"Much better" might be a stretch, but they are "better". Assuming you have a good PC and can play with the highest settings.

PS5 Pro though, pretty solid. I can't much tell the difference between that and a high end PC, personally.

i play regularly on both and at the moment, they're relatively the same. If anything, if your video card on your PC isn't that new, PC might actually be a bit lower on the performance.

Well, here's a PC screen shot. Someone with a PS can post and we can compare.

IDK, my 15 year old computer with a 4060 in it looks a lot like the PS5 screenshots.

The elitists here are just kids though, one day they'll respect the value of a games-only computer sitting by the couch that never has Windows issues and never asks you to use a keyboard.

I bet it runs smoother on the console on average. It hitches a bit loading assets because the GPU is up for it but the memory and everything else is outdated.

The 4060 wasn't available 15 years ago. It wasn't even available 2 years ago. You can't really call your PC "15 years old" if you've been upgrading it.

I used a console as a kid, not much anymore. Keyboards are much more versatile, and mice are better for aiming/steering. Speaking of consoles as the grownup device seems... backward. And I never have "Windows issues" (use linux).

I'm running this game on my gaming laptop but surprisingly it isn't running that well, really high ping and horrible lag. I figured this would be the place to ask, y'all know how to fix that, when I use nvidia it's definitely better.

On a PC you can have a single component (CPU) the price of a PS5 so imagine a whole setup and of course if you put all those together it'll have MUCH more performance than something made not to go over certain price.
