Cannot complete the Omega Expedition

So I was doing the previous expedition I think it said beach head trying to get the Normandy, when it timed out, I started doing Omega, and can't progress past the first stage. Building the base computer did not unlock the schematic for the Construction Research Terminal.
I've checked around, and apparently since I unlocked it in beachhead I would now need to get to the anomaly to unlock it again. However to get to the anomaly you apparently need to jump to another system, however to get the schematic to build the hyperdrive, you need to build the Construction Research Terminal to complete the homecoming stage which gives the hyperdrive schematic as a reward. This is an obvious game breaking bug. Anyone know of a fix?

You don't need the Construction Research Terminal. Interact with the Base Computer to progress the mission and you'll receive all the items you need to continue.

As @gNg said, no construction research terminal is required. If the game told you to use one, you're just seeing a message that isn't actually relevant if you follow the expedition milestones and steps.

That happens sometimes in expeditions, where you get a notification that is keyed based on the "normal game" rather than the expedition.

I even got a notification during this Omega Redux regarding Plutonium fuel requirements...the game hasn't had Plutonium in ~6 1/2 years, but that message notification is obviously still in the game files and can be triggered by a specific sequence of events.

Ok. Thanks guys. Also I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. I was looking in the description of the step in the expedition screen looking for the directions for completing it, which is where I was reading that about the construction research terminal. I didn't notice that if you have clicked on that step it gives a build list down in the lower right corner. I found that, and followed that list and it worked.

hello guys, just a follow up question from mirasha, in my case it is requiring me to construct a base foundation and cylindrical room but i can’t research both items cuz both are in the space anomaly

(i also can’t reach the space anomaly cuz i don’t have a hyperdrive module; hyperdrive plans - can be obtained from homecoming milestone; home coming milestone can be done by constructing base foundation & cylindrical room)
