Cloned my ship for expedition, can I clone it back?

I have cloned my ship for expedition. during the expedition it gained quite a few nice upgrades. Can I clone it back when the expedition ends or do I just need to manually transfer the tech?

Yes you can clone it back. You can clone it several times and scrap for slots expansions.

With previous expos it was possible to make as many copies as you wanted...
This time it seems you cant copy it back at all (I'm having the same issue as Malkevin)

Normally You can clone as many times as you want, but this expedition is strange because there is no "end expedition" button unlike the previous expeditions. Once you done all 5 phases and claim rewards, you can only clone once from this expedition.

There was an End Expedition button.

I don't know about transferring things in/out - I went in with nothing & only took the rewards at the end.

Expedition had an end-expedition button for me, and I was able to send things back just fine.

The only time I have ever seen an expedition not have one and not allow transfer is when I start the expedition from the main menu rather than the anomaly terminal. It's not supposed to have one when that is how you start it.

Worth mentioning that I finished Beachhead before the most recent game update; maybe they broke it.
