New game, all suit slots always supercharged?
Does anyone else have the issue where the suit, default ship and default tool always start with all supercharged slots on new saves?

Getting new tools and ships are normal, but of course the suit is irreplaceable.

I have this issue on steam and my wife has the issue on xbox, however my xbox account works fine.

I will say we have toyed with the save editor in the past, however we have never made any coding changes to actual game files ourselves, or used any of the raw editing features of the goat fungus editor. Just played around with save files no longer in existence.

My new games all start with 0 supercharged slots on all three. And, I have started 3 new games over the past two weeks.

Suits do not have classes. They have four super charger slots but they are not always visible. You usually have to expand tech slots to find them.

Tools and ships sometimes have extra slots when starting an expedition character.

They appear to be a direct copy of the SC configuration of whatever the most recently used MT/ship...
Can't remember offhand who was talking about it before, but I paid attention when I launched the last expo via the Terminus and the configuration in the expo was the same as in the main save....

When you say all slots, do you mean the usual max of 4 slots or "all" slots?

thats the thing, on two accounts suits have 100% supercharged slots from the start on every new save i make and also when they are purchased the new ones are also supercharged, its a bug of some sort, possibly introduced by the save editor during one of its iterations.

Was wondering if anyone had it and was able to correct it

I have experienced this bug from the editor. I had to go in and click on each spot and turn off the supercharger. Once I did that everything went back to normal.

The Save Editor can both ENABLE and DISABLE supercharged slots

'twas me and I confirmed exactly what you mentioned. In addition, it works both from the Anomaly terminal AND when you make a new save from the menu.

Okay, but if you don't correct the bug... every new save will inherit the previous saves SS layout.

I believe all you'd need to do to "fix" the issue is to load a save, purchase a multi-tool with NO SS slots and set it as active. Now your next new save will reflect THAT multi-tool. The same should work for your ship.

The Exostuit has 3 predetermined locations, are you saying you have more than 3 in your messed up saves?

Thought it was you ^^
And yeah, I figured it worked for any new game, but I've only personally confirmed with expo via the Terminus.
And for anyone wondering, I've never used a save editor nor any mods, so that's not the cause of this bug. (though having 100% SC slots for exosuit is very unusual and sounds like its due to use of a save editor)

yes exosuit has all supercharged

ok i got it, makes sense, i can try that, being its not my major platform i dont care about any of the current saves.

so i should create a new save, trade in the ship and tool, open the save editor and correct the suit slots?

anyone know which ones by default are supercharged in the suit or is it random? i know its trivial but i am trying to return it to normal as much as possible

Exosuit supercharged slots are:
Row 1 #5
Row 2 #9
Row 3 #3

I'm flummoxed by the ship also inheriting the SS layout. I guess you'll have to try that if your new test save has the ship slots bugged too

I still don't get this whole Supercharge slot inheritance thing. I have not been able to reproduce it in my game, whatsoever. And I've tried!

The bug is that your new save (multi-tool) ss layout will reflect your last loaded saves multi-tool layout

I still works, brand new save this am

Here's my last loaded save

BTW - this multi-tool was ALSO inherited (from a new Beachhead save) I did not use the SE on it.
