Cross Save beta full. Any idea when and how to get in?

I just wanted to return to this game with my PS4 save on PC. And was excited to see cross save being added but it's not truly added as it seems with the beta full message.

Is there a way to know when I can join? aside from opening the game every so often.

AFAIK just keep trying at different times... i read a post the other day where someone tried, saw the "full" message,tried again later, and got in... so either the pool size was increased a bit or a slot came open and they were the lucky ones to get it...

I got it and then 8 hours later they disabled it. So... FML.

I kept trying everyday, at least once at a random time.
Just last week I got in, it seems random when they open slots. So, give it a try once in a while and hopefully you can get in.

This update is actually hella stressful with how little they've been telling us. First every possible source neglects to mention that the update is still in beta, leading to me and probably many others downloading the game for no reason (I'm not starting a new save when I have hundreds of hours put in the other one, JUST to go back to the old one when i'm finally able to). Then an in-game message that they'll tell us when more slots are open, without saying HOW they'll notify us. Then they just don't notify us at all, like that's just a lie.

Cool. I bought it for Xbox to play crosssave. And I got this message too, even after I could register and link accounts on their site. Thx.

Great! I did that at first but was told a few times the beta is full, kept trying everyday till a slot was available.

It's full, its been full for me and I've checked every.dang.day since thanksgiving on xbox, windows store version, and steam for crying out loud. I just want to move my extremely high level xbox save to steam so I can play on my steam deck.

It's a Beta. It's not for you to selfishly use before it's released. It's so HG can use the beta testers as cannon fodder to test the system.

I've been in for almost 2 months now. It's buggy & not ready for release, but it's getting better.

Be patient.

It's easy to belittle when you have greater access. I've literally bought the game and have restarted 3 times over on separate platforms (not including the different saves per platform). I'm ready to consolidate my saves and the cross save functionality has reinvigorated interest in myself and others to play again. I've been a loyal day 1 customer on PS4 and Xbox and have already purchased on steam. It's OK for customers to voice their opinions, unless you are specifically chosen by HG to moderate this discussion, I don't understand the need to gatekeep people from expressing their frustration and excitement in the game.

I just wish there was some official information other than the "more slots available soon!" message somewhere. TIA if you or anyone else can link to that.
