Cloud save full?
Seems like the beta is full. I have to wait till slots are opened. Wow that was fast.

It was full for me even this morning. I suspect they are handpicking just a few. The announcement says you will be notified in game if you get invited. I think it will be a few weeks and it will be open for everyone provided it doesn't ruin too many saves in the beta.

Thanks for update. I was excited and kinda bummed when it was full. Hopefully it goes well and everyone gets in the next couple of weeks.

Are you talking about the experimental branch? That has nothing to do with the cloud. I am confused...we are talking NMS right?

They just came out with cross save support. You have to go through a process in linking your platforms. It is suppose to upload the MOST recent save and allow you to play it on different platforms ... suppose to be up to 5 saves. However, the cross save support is full ... we are thinking it might be a slow roll out.

yeah i did everything they ask me to do yet i cannot cross save yet.
i'm having to wait for more open slots or is it invites. :(

IMO, it's much better to have to wait for beta tests to take their time than to be served a broken/undercooked system that could mess up your saves

I bought a PSVR 2 and a copy for my PS5 to play my pc save in vr.

I wouldn't have jumped that gun if I had known that the brand new cross save feature was limited like this.

I'm okay with waiting for something that works, I just wish things would have been a bit more clear?

It's disappointing.

I hope they are able to open more slots soon, because I still look forward to playing

Did you read the announcement? What exactly wasn't clear?
They clearly stated they were starting beta tests with a limited number of slots, and that the number would be expanded as the beta progressed...

You should really do some basic research instead of "jumping the gun" (ie acting quickly without thought).... Your disappointment comes down to your own hasty decision...

It's the first result for "no man's sky cross save" in Google search.

It says nothing about limited spaces. You have to dig through the drop down FAQs to find that. Yes it's on the Steam announcements, but when I'm checking to see if a game has a cross platform feature, my first thought isn't Steam announcements.

I'm aware that it's a skill issue on my part, but I came to this assumption in a very normal way. I knew nothing about cross-save for this game until I googled it wondering if it was supported.

I'm allowed my minor disappointment lol

I have been checking every couple of days and fingers crossed. I agree with Strider that I don't want broken system that could mess up my save. However, I do feel disappointment also like Emryn. Pretty long beta test thou.... I posted this on November 7. Hopefully I get in by February lol.

So long as you are signed up and set up for it, you will be automatically added to the cross save system when its your turn.
I think players get added in the order in which they signed up, so sign up and when there is space and its your turn, you will get added.
Thats what happened to me, i joined it and got it set up and just had to wait. Then one day i logged in and got the notice that i was added to the cross save system.
