5.25 Patch Notes

• Cross-Save is now enabled for No Man’s Sky, allowing players to transfer save games between all platforms. This feature is being released as a limited beta with a restricted number of places, which will be increased in the coming weeks. All players are invited to read about the feature, and connect their platform accounts via the “Getting Started” link here.
  
• The Beachhead expedition begins today, and will run for two weeks. Alongside Priest Entity Nada, investigate mysterious fluctuations in history already written – and recruit the legendary SSV Normandy SR1 into your fleet.
  
  
• Fixed a crash related to loading Multi-Tools.
  
• Fixed a rare crash on PlayStation consoles.
  
• Fixed a memory crash on Xbox consoles.
  
• Fixed an issue preventing older PS4 saves from being loaded.
  
• Fixed a rare crash on Xbox when loading certain save games.
  
  
• Fixed an incorrect icon for the Grub Cocoon at the Quicksilver Synthesis Companion.
  
• Fixed incorrect icon and text in the Catalogue archive for The Cursed.
  
• Repositioned the save indicator on the main menu.

Says its in a beta state and there are limited places.
Not sure if that's why its not working for me. I have followed all the steps and the toggles are enabled on both accounts!!!!

I was going to wait but decided to try it out. I enabled both playstation and steam. I launched the ps5 with the patch and there is an icon on the top left of it trying to connect to no man's sky servers, but its stuck connecting. I assume once it connects, it will show a cloud icon next to each save to upload to cloud.

Update: I shut down my ps5 fully and restarted. The cloud connected and I had the option to enable cross-save on the select game screen. When I clicked it, it said full and to try again later.

I wonder how many updates I need to wait for them to finally fix the Steam Controller vibration issue. Makes the game unplayable when it's nonstop vibrating.

Many thanks for the link and for the summary of patch notes.

The only console I have this game on is Switch, which isn't able to use cross-saves yet (I'm not surprised. I stopped playing it on Switch because... being handheld didn't save what an inferior experience it was in comparison to Steam. ), but their description of save bloat makes me think it might not be possible to carry my main save over, so I'm happy to wait until testing is finished.

Well I just finished the expedition, seems to be same rewards, and the last reward is the Normandy frigate (I missed the original expedition)
