Sentinel Multi-tool

Does a dissonant planet only have one type of multi-tool? I have searched this planet 4 times already and each time it has been the same one only difference is the class. Thanks for the help in advance.

If memory serve me correctly, you can just save and reload until you get the other type of sentinel weapon...
But I've not tried in a long time, so I could be mistaken

I tried that by going back to the main menu but that didn't work. Maybe I need to exit to desktop? Gonna try that.

Are you talking about the two different looking multitools you find in autophage camps?

I thought they were the same, and only look different?

I don't know how many types there are. I just watched a video saying which one was best and it looks different than the one I am finding. The one I am finding looks meh. The other one is awesome looking. Looks like a black and red rifle I believe.

I have no idea about the specific random name, that's not something i normally pay attention too.

It's the rifle no the pistol drill looking one which is all I am finding. I have now checked like 8 times. lol

While it talks about standard multi-tools, so before there were sentinel MT and a long time before the Autophage staff, I do not believe that the mechanics have changed that much if at all. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

The main difference between the two sentinel multi-tools is looks and number of starting slots. The one handed weapon has fewer slots than the two handed version. Both have highest damage power, with weak mining (though adding a mining beam doubles the output). The major differences noted on damage by the OP is for standard rifle (more damage) and standard pistol (weak damage, better mining & scanning). I think you are just encountering bad RNG luck. Test another two or three camps, and the two handed version should be at one of them.
