No alien maps don't reveal them.

You need to talk to one of the translucent travelers that appear randomly in space stations, trade platforms, and other places NPCs are found.

Go to YouTube, type NMS how to get glyphs fast

Then find Xaines World’s video

At 4:55 he gives you Portal combos to find glyphs 3-16. You will need 2 glyphs to get started.

Hop to systems and check the Space Port. I think the Travelers are more common in Korvax systems so look for those. Good luck!

There is going to be a traveler in an Atlas system. These are the dudes with horns that you find in the area where the teleporter is

You can also see if there is a "Hazardous Flora" mission at the Nexus, that will direct you to a grave.

Except they don't always have horns because, you know, procedural generation.

OP, just look for Atlas systems. Talk to the Travellers at the space stations. Give them stuff. They'll give you the location of a grave. Repeat 16 or so times until you get all the glyphs.

Play the storyline, at 3/4 of it you get the possibility to earn all 16 glyphes by warping from system to system. That's the fastest if not the easiest way.

I don't think this works, it's written in your savegame what graves you have visited, so you cannot exploit them with goody respawn. Although: these entries get deleted (reset) after some time, but it takes too long to wait for that.
The faster alternative to the storyline is to visit many space stations and talk to these NPCs and pay 200 nanites.

I bought most to speed it along but while trolling a planet i did come across 4 dotted about as well as a bus load of drop pods.
