Is there a way to see who has visited my base?
Is there a way to see who has visited my base? It'd be cool if there was a log or something.

Another player can choose to leave a Communication Station or Beacon with a message. That should be visible across any game mode. But there is no recording of a player visit or visitor count. Possibly if the player takes part in any race track you have built, their times and name are recorded against other player times. But not sure if this is temporary.

There is one occasion when a player will be registered but then the HUGE GIGANTIC Cloud spider eats the player and alas no trace is found, a Johnny ;) :steamhappy:
Haha Hello Harry. You're too kind with your comments. :D Glad you came back from the dead! That spider is a very large house spider... or huge gigantic base spider.... and they're really quite friendly...

Funny guy, that Harry.

I've thought about this issue too lately. When you interact with someones base computer there is the option to "register as guest" but it does not seem to do anything. I agree it would be cool to have a list of those who have visited.

The only way is if you get com balls left. Most players know to set com balls away from your base, but they can be super annoying if they don't. You can report it and it will vanish from your instance of the game if you don't like it.

Back in the pre-MP days, that was a common thing to do so a player would actually know someone stopped by.

It was a lot harder to get around back then because your ship did not come with you. You had to use a portal and build an exocraft unless it was close. They were never close because you could only build a base where it was designated by the game.

Now it is so easy to do not really noteworthy.

I like the concept of a base guestbook. If comm balls are persistent across modes, then a guestbook could record visitor name and timestamp and keep the base from getting cluttered.
