Maybe you have this set, i dont know, the sweetspot for the setting was and still is 10gb .
There is also a fix in the works for dlss, since its a bit buggy as of now.
Toy around with fsr and dlaa to see how that works to get an opinion on what works best for you till the fix comes and when it does, try again :)

I already voiced this concern to them for years and they have yet to do something about this. Modders only added models for the worst industrial ones, which helps on industrial models but it still f-ed for other models.
DLSS and FSR is just coping with this as you have to render way more tris in a single view than an entire tris in a indie game scene.
So i'd suggest try to find some model replacement mods in nexusmods. It may helps a bit. Otherwise just blame their laziness to optimize their models.
Also I would not feel ashamed to have a bad computer, I started gaming with a horrendous PC that could barely run Killing Floor 1 and Black Ops 2 at best, but my computer not being good enough it's not the problem here.
