NMS for switch
What's up all .

So I have the game for PC but was thinking about picking it up for the switch. Anyone here who has it for switch, can you tell me if there are any drawbacks? I heard there isn't multiplayer but that was from a yr ago.

Thanks all

I heard no multiplayer, and have not heard that they fixed it yet, tho they did so they are working on it.

Burn your Switch, buy a Steam Deck.

The Switch version runs great and I played for hundreds of hours before I got a steam deck. But it's still very impressive that the game is so good on what amounts to a tablet. The only things it doesn't have is multiplayer and settlements. Hello games said they caused too much lag during game play. Other than that though it's the full experience in a tidy handheld.

I have it and all i can say is that it does the job pretty well. It has 90% of the features of the pc version (lacks multiplayer and settlements), there are a few minor issues, like pop-in and laggy terrain manipulator. Other than that you'll have same experience as any other platform, it also has every content update. Since a few months it received a custom AMD FSR update, so it looks sharper, better and runs smoother than before.

Oof... while not as bad as Sonic Frontier's pop-in, NMS's poor draw distance and pop-in on Ultra settings on my PC with a 3080Ti is so bad, I can only imagine what it would look like on a Switch. :steamfacepalm:

I wanted one badly but I just can't justify it. By the time I get off my rig I usually lay in bed with my switch. It has great games that I haven't been able to get to.

Very cool. That's what I wanted to hear. Thanks.

Switch doesn't update game yet to version 5.0
So do all Microsoft products as Game Pass and Xbox.
There is no valid recommendations can be done.

que tiene que ver la actualización con la jugabilidad.

The switch version looks surprising good considering the switch isnt capable of much graphically. As far as i am aware there is no multiplayer yet and i dont think you can collect the expedition rewards ( I might be wrong). You can visit the Atlas although there is no other player there and I dont think you can do the nexus missions either if i remember correctly.

I heard settlements aren't in the game but I'm not going to waste $60 to find out because I believe they did change it so settlements exist now or was that expeditions...
