They should bring back old Twitch drops... FOMO is stupid
I highly dislike the FOMO aspect. If someone has a life and they work odd hours, they just... miss out? Because? Seems like some dbaggery.

Can't you just download the save editor and enable all of those (plus the Expedition rewards) that way?

Obviously, back up your saves first before trying it, and make sure you wait until the save editor is updated with the latest version of NMS.

Personally I never cared about the twitch drops. Just handing me free ships, tools, etc circumvents the actual game play. Heck, I rarely use the expedition rewards for long for the same reason.

As mentioned above, you can choose to edit your save. I've done it on an expedition I missed out on and it worked without issues.
But also, most of the stuff you get from Drops are actually available in the Quicksilver store, or were already part of earlier expedition rewards, anyways.

None of the twitch drops are special or unique, they are all things that are obtainable in game.

Unless you are about to tell us that you are working several days straight, without ever coming home or internet access... i don't really see the issue here.

I mean, i put the twitch channels on in the background, muted and just run the clock, while i do other things.

The promotion doesn't care that i am off cleaning the bathroom or watch Netflix with my SO.

I don't even use twitch. Don't agree with their politics.

ps OP. FOMO isn't stupid... it's avarice, just ignore and let it go

They just need to stop crashing.

Are you kidding me? This is 2024! Everybody's doing that! Except Ghost Ship Games, who just introduced the ability to run older seasons in DRG to get the rewards from them!

Might I suggest the Consumerism mod. It's a pretty friendly way of obtaining all the things you've missed out on and it doesn't feel like cheating either.

The mod has all twitch drops (afaik), all expedition rewards and sometimes, also rewards in it that haven't been* released yet.

That doesn't make sense at all.
Twitch doesn't have politics.

And even if they did, that's not going to bother you.

What do you miss? Save editor exists and hello games never banned someone for cheating/modding

https://www.esports.net/news/twitch-controversies/

For a non political platform, they sure seem to have alot of opinions of what is socially acceptable and not.

I myself dont really understand twitch, I dont want to watch people play games, I want to play them. But if a drop is good enough ill leave it play in the background just long enough to get it.

Funny enough I didnt even know there were drops this weekend as it I never seen it advertised on steam.
