Mouse sensitvity - teleporting everywhere

Hi there,

I am trying to play the game after the update and no matter what I do, the mouse is completely uncontrollable in this game. I've tried manually changing the settings file, changing my DPI, mouse acceleration is turned off etc.

I have attached a medal clip of the issue? Is anyone else experiencing this and is there a fix?

Have you tried updating your mouse drivers?

Is your mouse teleporting to the middle? Have you tried changing window mode? (non fullscreen)

Updated software etc. still same issue :(

Yeah every time it hits the side of the screen it teleports back to the middle! The thing is the mouse moves a billion times faster in the game than it does on the desktop which is weird.

I just tried a Amazon Basics mouse and that works fine, but its also reeeaaaallly slow because the DPI is really low. The teleportation issue was occurring on this mouse as well when it hit the side of the screen though.

I've tried all modes, windowed, fullscreen, borderless.

Seems like a controller is interfering, nothing (USB) plugged in? (Controllers, wheels, pedals, yokes etc..)

Nope :(

My controller is currently off and not plugged in and Steam isn't detecting any controllers.

Have you tried verifying your files? Also have you ever used mods?

Yeah reinstalled brand new, no mods or anything. It's okay! I think I'll just play with a controller as that doesn't have any issues with cursor control.

This game is made for a controller anyway. I can't imagine playing it with M&K.

Having exactly the same issue. The mouse pointer moves extremely inconsistently. For the sake of testing I'm trying to do a perfect circles with mouse pointer in the menus. While it's entirely doable on my desktop and other games, here it feels like the mouse pointer speed is changing all the time in extremely unpredictable manner, and therefore it makes the game extremely difficult and unpleasant to handle.

I tried windowed / borderless / fullscreen, Vsync on / off, settings from lowest to highest, mouse smoothing in game 0-100, any controllers etc. unplugged. No mods too (never used any). Mouse acceleration systemwise disabled. I just ran out of possible clues. :/

Edit: Let me just add, that I was playing the game using mouse and keyboard since the game release and there were no such issues up until now.

Yeah this is pretty much what I experience too! The mouse speed is all over the place and I've never seen a game make my mouse do this! I tried so much stuff, even running in compatibility mode and no fix. I didn't have this problem a couple of years ago when I played either, so not sure what's caused it!

I tried that too. Just forgot to mention that. I use Logitech G502 Hero if that may be of any relevance.

Same issue with my Roccat kone xp air

I have a Logitech M510 and had to turn the mouse sensitivity all the way down to 2 in the game settings. It's still a little twitchy but usable. Mouse works fine everywhere else, so issue is with the game.

No drivers to update, it uses the generic Microsoft driver. I don't own a controller, have always used M&K.

Same issue.
Logitech G502 Hero.
Mouse resets to the middle when touching the edge of screen. Only seems to happen when in UI mouse mode and doesn't affect movement outside of this.
