How's the state in VR?

Last time I played NMS in VR was 2022. This new update makes me wanna go back and start a fresh new game - maybe permadeath in VR.

How's the general performance? Does DLSS 3 help?

How are the new water reflections or wind and cloud effects? Reflections and visual effects can be pretty buggy in VR so how's that lookin

I think they implemented a new GPU rendering technique. That surely would help improve performance. Last time I played, rendering distance was abysmal - immersion breaking. How's that looking in VR? That sort of stuff...

didn't see a DLSS option in VR only FSR when I was playing earlier. Also my buy menu's didn't work, everything was empty...yay.

Edit: it's there. I am silly and overlooked changing the method the game uses. Buy menu still messed up.

DLSS is under anti-aliasing, first set to dlss to gt a new entry for dlss quality, or you could set dlaa for no upscaling. Frame gen is below that and works technically but it isnt implemented very well, as i dont see a big bump in fps with it and non frame gen seems more stable. but ive only quickly tested the game in pancake mode and later today when the expedition goes live ill go in vr, so cant comment on vr yet.

Yeah I played it back when it had DLSS 2. How are the new water reflections or wind and cloud effects as visual effects can look buggy if it's not carefully implemented to VR. That sort of stuff..

Can confirm the buy menu is bugged on my system, also.
also its more taxing on the GPU... needed to turn down a lot of options

@ Bruddel, my purchase menu was also bugged out. Had to play flatscreen yesterday.
