Will the Iron Vulture come back?

I was sick for the majority of this expedition so i didn't get a chance to finish it, though I'm very close. I see the save and it says there's less than a day left (i probably only need an hour to finish it) but since the update, it wont let me open the save, it just keeps crashing. Waiting for an update will mean the expedition will be over, so will I just miss out on the one ship that brought me back to this game forever?

They (as in HG/devs) usually re-run the expeditions in December. There is also a way to play the expeditions off-line > https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3107584216. Not sure how close to working it is following the 1.5 update.

Actually, there is a mod, needs to be updated now, but it will unlock the iron vulture for you, check out Nexus Mods, it is there.

hmm, so i can keep the rewards as if i did it normally? Does that mean i can also re-do that one expedition that gave the tents as a reward? I always regretted not doing that one
