I did the same and yes, I'm surprised , it's running smooth.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love you. lol. This fixed my issue. Thanks.
I guess a 3060 Ti is not made to max out everything in 4K (I know, DLSS UP is something like FHD or less), as I recognize that the VRAM is completely full and I get 2 (yes two!) FPS, when I switch to DLSS Performance.
At the very first startup I had 44 FPS all the time. After a few restarts and removing all FPS limiters (Nvidia driver, Riva Tuner, Ingame), which were set to 88 FPS (seems that there was some strange (factor 2) relationship to the 44 FPS?) I had solved the issue.
Yes, something might be broken, but the overall performance is quite OK.
With World Update 2 and a new graphics card, I guess I'll start a new game.
Reducing details or using "optimised" settings is not my cup of tea.
I guess on a 3080 or 4070 or faster card it should run with at least 50+ FPS in 4K DLSS Performance.
I think they may have botched DLSS/Framegen somehow, since only tampering with it helps (CoMaNdRGhoST solution would also indicate some framerate/gen issues).
i dont even have an option for framegen but on DLSS the FPS is unplayable. FSR works, but i find it has a much blurrier quality than DLSS
