Super low fps after update
Anyone else? Was averaging around 170-200 fps on high before update now its like in the 100s. Frame gen somehow drops it as adds insane latency issues.

same here, and it stutters like hell, and my home world is extreme sentinels, before update it was slick as butter, game over

Try turning reflections down to standard is it, the setting below enhanced. That is what worked for me, but might be something else causing the drop for you.

I noticed the update changed my previous graphics settings. So I updated my Nvidia driver and used their optimise tool. Everything is running better than ever now, so might be worth trying?

I've got a similar but stranger issue. My game is now just randomly locked to 30 fps and I cant seem to figure out why
McQuackers_Mime Jul 17, 2024 @ 1:06pm
Yeah, same here. Low frames and stuttering. Might have to wait for a patch or future update before I can play the game again and find a new place to call home.

I did the same and yes, I'm surprised , it's running smooth.

Graphics really worse now, before update crisp and clear, now a blurry mess. Best result now is disabled AA and this with RTX 3090 and i9-13900. At least it does not torture us with CA and lens flares.

Hey guys, I had low fps today too (only about 40). After I removed my FPS limit in the NVIDIA Settings (it was set to 90 fps!) Everything went normal. So if you have anyting in the NVIDIA System Settings like Backgroundapp FPS limit or something my advice is to try turn it of

Better and smoother than ever, set my max frames at 144 same as monitor

3060 Ti, 4K, everything maxed out to Ultra - but - also DLSS Ultra (!) Performance - is 30 to 90 FPS, depending on planet, weather, etc.

I guess a 3060 Ti is not made to max out everything in 4K (I know, DLSS UP is something like FHD or less), as I recognize that the VRAM is completely full and I get 2 (yes two!) FPS, when I switch to DLSS Performance.

At the very first startup I had 44 FPS all the time. After a few restarts and removing all FPS limiters (Nvidia driver, Riva Tuner, Ingame), which were set to 88 FPS (seems that there was some strange (factor 2) relationship to the 44 FPS?) I had solved the issue.

Yes, something might be broken, but the overall performance is quite OK.

With World Update 2 and a new graphics card, I guess I'll start a new game.

Reducing details or using "optimised" settings is not my cup of tea. :steammocking:

I guess on a 3080 or 4070 or faster card it should run with at least 50+ FPS in 4K DLSS Performance.

Yes my performance has tanked, playing with DLSS enabled is unplayable and it also crashes on me randomly when I play with the settings. Hopefully a hotfix is coming soon,

I get FPS drops only with Frame Gen enabled. DLSS as of its own works fine. Though, there is seemingly a new DLSS preser called Ultra Quality, which defaults to Balanced in the UI after applying, but if you do choose it, apply and then quit the setting screen with disregarding the unsaved settings info it does seem to apply. But then my loading screen is white, I get 2fps and see white/gray screen while in game.
I think they may have botched DLSS/Framegen somehow, since only tampering with it helps (CoMaNdRGhoST solution would also indicate some framerate/gen issues).

i dont even have an option for framegen but on DLSS the FPS is unplayable. FSR works, but i find it has a much blurrier quality than DLSS
