Crashing trying to playin in VR

Was able to play in VR before the update, but now launching into any save in VR crashes my game and gives me this error. Anyone know what it means? Or a fix?

Ive already done this, Was just hoping to get some more info to hopefully play today. Looks fun.

That's odd. With this update I can now play in VR thru Steamlink to my Quest 3. It's been over a year since the last time I was able to get past the endless starfield flight in VR. And the cableless performance is pretty decent too.

i am using quest 3 and air link. played 300 hours in vr before update. Now it does no longer work

yeah it is quite odd. The loading doesnt take to long actully. And everything else in game seems to run fine. No frame skips or anything. But after the loading is done its just a black screen and then crashes.

Yeah im with you. I played a bunch in VR before hand and now i got this fun error. Super sad

yeah, game does not crash but it does not engage vr mode at all. Only 2d flatscreen in the headset

The first time I tried to load my game it crashed on me as well. But the second time it worked fine, as it did the third time I restarted for my redone graphics settings to take effect.

This is with a Valve Index, 7800x3D, 4090.

The game crashed for me too on first start up after the update. Second time it loaded fine. But I also turned on DLSS before the second try, though I really don't think that had anything to do with it.

Yeah this is quite disappointing. I reported it via the hello games desk so hopefully we get a patch at some point. But game is unplayable for me. I even tried the experimental patch they just pushed.

Same issue here. Never seen them break it quite this thoroughly before. The game updated last night and ran fine in VR, restarting without issue through several graphics setting changes during testing. Today, just a star field, then black, then crash.

this worked for me :
"Delete everything in "C:\ProgramData\NVIDIA\NGX\models", DLSS will regenerate these files when its next used."
