NetHack has also eaten a lot of my time over the years, but I have no way to know how much to make a comparison...
I had put about 500 hours into the Skyrim construction set, than I did with the game lol. All cause of "dirty edits" from modders and I wanted a teleport home to grab everything that wasn't nailed down. By the time I learned all the tricks and sorting from other modders, by picking apart their mods, I was burnt out and didn't want to play anymore lol.
Then there was Runscape, back in early 2000's and then Minecraft that I put many hours into, but there is no way I can figure out how many hours either
