I planted a base computer on a nice one the other day. Now I'm a little hesitant to look.
This was in the last patch, but this was a week and a half ago on the 29th. This just happened with me yesterday.
"Fixed a number of LODing issues with floating islands
Improved the ambient audio on floating islands"
when the island where my Landing Pad is located was altered, the terrain on top was lowered a bit... this is ok because i wanted to put down some of those support legs from the pre-fab buildings and that large rock was in the way... i like to do these support legs so the LP isn't just floating in the air... i do it for my raised buildings, too...
i dropped four cubic rooms on the four corners of the decking i built around the LP... then i added the four-legged support pieces and removed the cubic rooms... everything looked great until i checked it out in photo mode and saw the support legs went right through the island to their maximum length instead of stopping on top of the terrain like they do on non-floating terrain...
i'll get some screen shots and report this to HG later...
That snuck up on me and I to laugh. All that work and photo mode dashed your hopes.
I deleted my Expo 14 floater cause you have to have a fireplace, or emergency heater to keep the indoor environment at bay.
Also cause I could not delete a part I could plainly see poking out of the pseudo surface.
I really like that the Minotaur stayed on it's GeoBay in "active" mode did not go stomping around, falling off, and flyby jump scares to eventually tea bagging my face. So many joke there, but no"BODY" commented on this name yet>
