Valuable items sought mission not progressing

I've tried a half dozen of these missions where you need to source a certain quantity of items and have had to quit them all because it won't progress. After collecting the required amount, which is confirmed in the mission description (250/250 for example), the checkbox for the mission stage never gets checked and the next step never activates. The item type doesn't seem to be a factor as each mission has required a different item. What they all have in common is getting stuck on that first step.

Am I missing something obvious or is there some trick to getting the mission to update once I've sourced the full quantity? Or is this known bug and I should just avoid those missions from now on?

You need to have that specific mission actiive, otherwise it won't tell you where to drop it off

Ya i just noticed this too, so if you get a new mission in between you have to go to log and choose it again.

Yeah, you need the quest to be active for the quest to progress...

I did encounter a bug before where depositing the resources at the specified trade terminal failed to complete the quests, but this has been patched now

Thank you, this worked. I put all those items into storage, pinned the mission, transferred them back and got credit for them. The mission progressed to the next step.
