How to apply Liquidator Minataur Parts?

So Phase 2 of the Liquidator expedition is done (including the optional milestone). I claimed the reward in the expedition milestone list. I checked with the quicksilver merchant that it was already claimed.
But how do you apply it? It's not listed in the installable tech and I don't see it as an item in the inventory like the Sentinal modifications.
So where is it and how do you apply it?

At least for me it was a bp I could install in the Minotaur tech area. You do have to be in close proximity to the exocraft. I just clicked on an open slot and there it was an option to install.

For me I had to get it for quicksilver then it just let me install it on my Minotaur. Sounds like some troubleshooting is in order GL

I know NMS has a habit of changing how some things work and not explaining it very well, and I've learned it's usually just that I am missing something. But I thought I was familiar enough with the game after 1000 hours to work my way through it. Guess I'll look again. =P

Let me ask you,... did you guys turn in all the phases and close out the whole expedition or are you waiting for the community (optional) parts to be completed?

Community wide achievements can only be used when the expedition is over. You can't activate them ahead of time.

There is a tricky opportunity to install upgrade in expedition OR purchase it with quicksilver and install in main save.

So if you install your minotaur left arm as upgrade into your minotaur exo craft, it will cost you something about 1 ion battery and 1 metal sheet.
Also in the end of expedition you most likely will be able to export this technology to your main save.
On your main save it will be "already claimed" in quicksilver shop.

However if you don't install technology in your mech during expedition, you will be able to purchase it with 1000 quicksilver on your main save.
At least that how it's work for me.

I have an open ongoing fresh save file in the expedition in which I am claiming the Community Optional milestone rewards as they arrive.
After claiming the Liquidator Left Arm, I opened my Perma-Death main save that has never done an expedition.
Went to see the QS merch in the Anomaly

Teleported to my base and summoned Minotaur (note: It already has the Hardframe parts from a Trace of Metal quest including the Sentinel Left Arm)

Yeah, I claimed it too. But I have not closed out the remaining phases. I don’t care if it costs me material or quicksilver, I have a ton. I just don’t see it as an option to install anywhere.

Okay, so I see it available on my save that I am doing the expedition on, but not my main save that I’m switching between via the console on the Anomaly.
Whatever. I’m sure it will work itself out.

same as with ships, enter the vehicle, click on one of the equipment slots and install (assuming you have the required components in an accessible inventory of course)

The rest of the community milestones should be done in about 2 weeks.

I know how to install components. It’s just not an option. As I mentioned in my previous comment it shows up on the expedition save but not my main save I’m switching between, even though it shows as “Already Owned” at the quicksilver vendor.
Others have mentioned I have to wait till the expedition is finished to be able to get access on that save. I guess we’ll see in a couple weeks.

Okay, now I’m confused. I loaded a third save from a previous expedition and it shows up as an option. Again, maybe because my main save is the one I’m switching between but if that’s the case that’s pretty lame that I have to wait just for that one.

You can't use any of those minotaur parts on your main save. That'll only be possible when the expedition is over.
