Is there co-op progression?
I tried playing this game (on another platform) a long time ago with my Wife and a friend, but we quickly learned that pretty much all mission and other progression (including things like bases) were not shared. So it felt like playing a singleplayer game where other people nearby were also playing their singleplayer game.

Also we had tons of bugs, including terrain that would rebuild itself on top of our landed ships and structures, missions that would get bugged out and not progress, etc. All that that we encountered within the first hour or two of playing co-op.

So my question now is, has anything around co-op and co-op progression changed? Is it possible to share missions, bases, and other progression now or is it still basically a singleplayer experience even during co-op?

Are there any co-op or multi-crew ships? Anything we can do to work together on shared progress?

Any help or info on the co-op aspects of the game would be appreciated. Thank you!

The Nexus missions can be shared...but that is it. You can also do those by yourself so not sure I would say there is any benefit to doing them with others. But they are designed to let you do them with others.

Thanks.

I'm not familiar with all the missions types. Are the nexus missions part of the main story or something separate?

They are random side missions, like go and kill 100 underground spiders or something. Not story related.
