How’s the coop?

Been playing by my self for a little while and really enjoying it. I’m tempted to try and convince my friend to buy the game. Just wondering how good the co-op is? Or are the co-op missions decent enough?

The netcode can be janky and not register each others actions appropriately. The only real way to travel together is by a freighter as all of the other vehicles are single player only.

MP/Co-op in NMS is more "playing alone together" than anything else... each of you still has your own tasks to do... you can just do them together instead of alone... there's no shared loot or mission objectives... by that i mean if you get or complete something, you get the reward... no one else does... they still have to do it themselves...

Nms solo is a great game but the coop sucks, as wkitty says : is like playing alone together. Even if u group with a friend you can't share missions objectives

I haven't tried co-op per say but I did join some impromptu PvE fights with a few players and the netcode was horrendous. Maybe it's better in a co-op environment but I doubt it.
