Save editor is the only way outside of a fantastic mod on NEXUS called "Burn Baby Burn".

I'm actually surprised they didn't re-introduce it with this update and especially the expedition.

Coming to the Exomech (or whatever that thing is called) soon I think. There in a incinerator upgrade at the exomech kiosk in the space station - waypoint 3 of the expedition.

OP is not talking about the Minotaur weapon.

Gotcha. Save editor for sure then. I did that about a year ago and was disappointed in the range of it.

Guys for real try the mod I mentioned. It returns it to the game and gives it a few buffs since there aren't any upgrade mods for it.
Supercharge it for extra sizzle.
You will have to learn the tech though with the mod. It isn't given for free.

Ve al sistema en el que la incineradora estaba en la estación espacial, si tienes suerte encontrarás una señal vy'keen diciendo que han encontrado el arma, el resto es encontrar señales
I think it still exists. Some players have it. I think a few years back the incinerator for the multi-tool was added to the game for a few days or so, then removed for whatever reason. Maybe the code for it wasn't finished or undecided. It could have been an error or something. I remember at the time some players posting to YouTube (jason Plays how they found it in a minor outpost or something. But it was removed. If players were lucky enough to have collected it during the time it was in the game, I think it still functions but is more eye-candy than practical. There are no upgrades for it in the game.

It's extremely powerful against the Sentinels but it's damage falls off against the vile brood abomination things and the enemies on derelict freighter missions. This is without the mod.

I do not speak Spanish buddy.
YouTube Incinerator flamethrower 'How to find it' links, with Portal Code addresses included.

YouTube (jason Plays

Alien Multitool
Portal Code 11B709992FA6

YouTubw](Captain Steve)

Scientific Multitool
Portal Code 113DF050D1AE

The information is four years old and the Incinerator technology is probably no longer present at the locations in the links. It may be elsewhere, it maybe not. The deity of Sean may only ever divulge the secret to those worthy to touch the stars. The mythical incinerator rumours continue to drive space travellers into a frenzy... At least that's what a laughing Gek blurted out to me once when I asked if they had one. : D

Google Translate said this: Not if you use the paralysis mortar first, at least that's what I do on abandoned freighters

It still exist in-assets but cannot be obtained by normal means. There was some legitimate discussion before moderators pruned every reference to an unfortunate argument.

Here is the property set for the Incinerator as found in METADATA\REALITIES\NMS_REALITY_GCTECHNOLOGYTABLE.MBIN:
<Property value="GcTechnology.xml"> <Property name="ID" value="FLAME" /> <Property name="Group" value="" /> <Property name="Name" value="FLAMETHROW_NAME" /> <Property name="NameLower" value="FLAMETHROW_NAME_L" /> <Property name="Subtitle" value="FLAMETHROW_SUBTITLE" /> <Property name="Description" value="FLAMETHROW_DESCRIPTION" /> <Property name="Teach" value="True" /> <Property name="HintStart" value="" /> <Property name="HintEnd" value="" /> <Property name="Icon" value="TkTextureResource.xml"> <Property name="Filename" value="TEXTURES/UI/FRONTEND/ICONS/TECHNOLOGY/RENDER.FLAMETHROWER.DDS" /> <Property name="ResHandle" value="GcResource.xml"> <Property name="ResourceID" value="0" /> </Property> </Property> <Property name="Colour" value="Colour.xml"> <Property name="R" value="0.03529412" /> <Property name="G" value="0.36078432" /> <Property name="B" value="0.46666667" /> <Property name="A" value="1" /> </Property> <Property name="Level" value="1" /> <Property name="Chargeable" value="False" /> <Property name="ChargeAmount" value="200" /> <Property name="ChargeType" value="GcRealitySubstanceCategory.xml"> <Property name="SubstanceCategory" value="Earth" /> </Property> <Property name="ChargeBy"> <Property value="NMSString0x10.xml"> <Property name="Value" value="LAND1" /> </Property> <Property value="NMSString0x10.xml"> <Property name="Value" value="LAND2" /> </Property> <Property value="NMSString0x10.xml"> <Property name="Value" value="LAND3" /> </Property> </Property> <Property name="ChargeMultiplier" value="1" /> <Property name="BuildFullyCharged" value="True" /> <Property name="UsesAmmo" value="True" /> <Property name="AmmoId" value="AMMO" /> <Property name="PrimaryItem" value="True" /> <Property name="Upgrade" value="False" /> <Property name="Core" value="False" /> <Property name="RepairTech" value="False" /> <Property name="Procedural" value="False" /> <Property name="BrokenSlotTech" value="False" /> <Property name="Category" value="GcTechnologyCategory.xml"> <Property name="TechnologyCategory" value="Weapon" /> </Property> <Property name="Rarity" value="GcTechnologyRarity.xml"> <Property name="TechnologyRarity" value="Impossible" /> </Property>
The important line is "<Property name="TechnologyRarity" value="Impossible" />". Any technology with a rarity of impossible cannot be found naturally in-game. This includes everything from "disabled" tech like the Incinerator, "lost" tech like Boltcaster SM and Photonix Core, certain "unique" tech like Runic Lens that are tied directly to a specific weapon type, "dead" items like all of the old tech that were turned into Obsolete Technology, and even "learned" tech like the Personal Refiners for the exosuit; it ensures certain tech doesn't show up in discovered equipment.

This doesn't affect existing instances. If a player bought a multi-tool during the window before it was dummied out, the code is still there and they keep it. If a player adds the tech via a save editor, the code is still there and they keep it. But it cannot be found in the wild.
