But I did see a post recently where someone claimed that the contents of the freighter refiners are tied to the system you were in when you filled them... take the freighter to another system and they disappear, return to the system and they appear again... I haven't bothered to test this theory myself though...
Don't think that is the issue in my case at least. I've not moved the freighter from the system where I got it and my refiner stuff has disappeared twice. The first time I honestly thought I must have emptied it but the second time it had nanites refining so i know I hadn't removed them.
When it sits in one place, and I come and go this never happens.
Keep your criticisms about people not wanting to use exploits/glitches to play the game to yourself, or start a thread to discuss that topic...
Note, I have no problem with anyone using exploits, etc. I use them myself sometimes. But please stop acting like that's how everyone should play... let others enjoy the game their own way
Oh please...
I passed on something someone claimed was the solution for them (and admitted I hadn't tested it myself)
Your so-called solutions have literally nothing to do with refiners...
You didn't explicitly state the word "should" but how else is this statement supposed to be interpreted... You basically called anyone who doesn't want to use exploits a tryhard.
I also said "stop acting like..." not "don't say" nor "you said"
Edit: for someone implying I didn't understand what you wrote, you've done pretty poorly with your own reading skills (and writing skills)
The phrase is "sooner or later..."
I don't trust my stuff being safe anymore. Before this I use to think stuff was going missing from my storage and it's now looking like it was.
That is a poor excuse for not sorting out a bug there seems to be no good reason for. It is like, oh well, as long as you aren't stupid and forget then "we" don't really have to be bothered too much. I am the sort of person of person who would lose sleep with that sort bug if I was programming it. It means you don't know what is going on with your code. Setting up a decent debugging system may seem like a lot of work but pays off with less time solving an annoying bug that ruins gaming experience. Imagine that they have the same bug in Light No Fire. What will you think then?
