Radon - Nitrogen - Sulphurine

I know theoretically they can be found in toxic, radioactive, and scorched planets. The problem is when I found those type of planets, I just can't find radon, nitrogen, or sulphurine.

Are there any other criteria for a planet that contain them?
How do you guys find a planet with abundant of them?

I believe you can also collect them just by being in specific system if you have a freighter base and install the gas collector module.
But I never had much uses for those, so I never really bothered much getting into it.
When I do occasionally find them on planets, they always come in like floating elements in the sky of unusual "fauna/flora". they are not like other elements you mine.

Radon's on cold planets, sulphurine's on hot planets. Check lush planets for Nitrogen.

Couple good to know hints.

Purchase a blueprint from the anomaly for the deployable gas harvester.

Nitrogen = can be harvested on Lush/Starbulb like planets
Radon = can be harvested from Cold Artic planets
Sulphurine =can be harvested from Hot phosphorus planets.

Some 1 star plants of note

Mutant plants on Nuke plants are king for Radon, they respawn if you harvest and travel 500u away. You can drop a custom marker and either fly and frag, or on foot just run and come back.. Multitool will harvest more that the ship. Which is faster is up to your skill.

Mutant plants on Cold world are hovering in air and yield ~ 5000 units of Sulphurine

Refining:
If you boss out on mutant plants you can refine your gases for a huge 3:1 reduction hit or add O2 for a 1:1 transmorgrification.

Thanks for this info. Seems like buying blueprint require salvage data. Where do I get it?

While you'll occasionally get a little bit as a secondary resource from plants and rocks, as well as a couple other sources that don't provide nearly enough for your needs, what you're looking for is the industrial mining.

get the survey device from the multitool guy on the Anomaly to find the resource nodes, then you'll need the industrial machine plans for salvage data, specifically the gas collectors.

I just did the staff quests, took me about 4 hours to get 200+ radon nitrogen and sulpherine.
went to the planets with atmospheres I needed scanned for hot spots and created bases. built harvesters and collection tanks. I think now if you go to the anomaly and look( i think i have to be in game) I have named the bases the gas name so others can teleport and grab gasses.

Scan for buried data modules while on foot using your scanner. Dog them up with the terrain manipulator. Hint: they're random but there's always one by a wreckage capture (the thing that looks like the Apollo return to earth module, and has smoke rising from it, so easy to find. Also, Radon is on radioactive planets (check your catalogue - next to the mission log - to see details)

Look for little farty radon plants. They are the best and respawn like curious deposits. There are unusual rocks and floaty plants too. Nitro is easy and if you have those two you can make the third but know you don't need much of any of them unless you decide to make devices. Love those little dancing plants.
