Inventory Full

I'm playing the new expedition. Instead of giving me the reward, it says "Inventory Full", clear space... etc. I have plenty of room in both my exosuit and my starship.
Any thoughts?

It may be trying to give multiple rewards. Just put some items into your ship inventory to create more space.

It's trying to upgrade your multitool, but you probably have one that's already an S-class equipped? Switch to a tool that's A-class or lower and you should be able to claim the rewards.

The starter tool I got was a C class pistol. Once you reach 21 slots it is full. I ended up trading mine in for the A class rifle in the second rendezvous point station. It got rid of the tool slot icon deal, and now my tool can accept a lot more slots...not to mention generally a lot better.

it has nothing to actually do with whether your inventory slots are full. You can have empty slots in exosuit, ship and even tool and it'll still happen. @gNg might be right as this has happened to me a couple times in past expeditions too and I was able to finally claim the reward only after switching to a crappier tool I'd had on me. You'd THINK they'd have considered this and dealt with it before, but apparently it was still a thing going into this expedition. I think they mention having finally dealt with it in the last experimental update, but I've not tested it, so dunno if it actually has.

Thank you all. The last answer did the job. My multitool was S class and the reward was trying to give me an S class plus pulse spitter. So, everything good now and I learned something.
