The lore blurs the line hard. Korvax Prime wasn’t just dirt and metal—it had a “sentient mind,” a planetary-scale AI or consciousness called the First Convergence. Think of it like a giant computer with a soul, syncing all Korvax into a hive mind. When the Gek blew it up, this mind didn’t fully die—it lingered as The Abyss or Void Mother, per Sentinel and Autophage lore. The Autophages claim “she” survived, now “rebuilding herself” with Atlantideum, suggesting an entity persisting beyond its physical form.
so here’s the deal with Korvax Prime—it’s kind of both a planet and an entity, or more like it used to be a planet that gave life to something bigger, before everything went sideways, Korvax Prime was a real, physical world, with this living, thinking core called the First Convergence. The Korvax didn’t just see it as some random rock—they called it their “mother” because it was the cradle for their whole hive-mind thing, connecting all their thoughts into one massive network.
Then the Gek wrecked it, blew it to bits, the Void Mother or the Abyss, didn’t just vanish. It’s still alive, even if it’s all fragmented now. The Autophages, talk about her like she’s actively pulling herself back together. They say she’s “creating herself” again, and they’re using Atlantideum to make it happen—giving her a physical presence, like flesh for their robotic shells, or maybe even steering things through them and those corrupted Sentinels like they’re her kids.
The Autophages call Atlantideum “holy” and “alive,” even “her flesh.” It’s not just some resource you mine—it’s how Korvax Prime’s essence lives on. Maybe she’s not aiming to be a planet again, but more like this spread-out network, living through the Autophages and whatever else she can 'infest'. It’s freaky, but kinda cool when you think about it.
