Do the Artemis mission untill your dealing with "null". I did that one and got to the point where it was the Purge and then i was given those glyphs seemingly randomly over time they were interjected to me somehow before I did the purge mission. Didn't do anything they just fell in my lap.
I will play the story, but I want to get the glyphs first.
I have tried the space station method, but have only found 2 traveler's in about 10 stations.
Thanks for the link.
But it still leaves the question of when going to a planet that the Anomaly shows a little glyph symbol how you locate the glyph on that planet?
Again thanks for the feedback
As mentioned though, be sure not to talk to the ghost. Just lay down your marker/base comp and quit the mission.
The planet that has the glyph - the glyph is so strong you can see it from within a SS after getting the directions from a traveler. It is very bright and looks like this >
I have no idea what Smurfy is talking about. What I describe is not a mission it's just a little quest at SS from a ghost/traveler. You pays your 200 nanites and you gets your directions, exact directions.
EDIT:
Added method quote for clarity for those who don't want to follow the link (which also had a v.good explanation of the other methods from Mr B. btw)
The grinding method is more hit or miss, but it does work - just keep going to space stations and talking to travelers (be sure to interact with each one twice). The Purge is more straightforward, but as mentioned above requires that you complete the full Artemis story line all the way to the end.
Having done both, I'm not sure which takes longer from start to finish.
Pick the weekly mission, get warped to the system, you'll have one site marked on the planet but there are already plenty of comm balls marking other graves that other players have kindly marked for you. Just fly to each comm ball marker and harvest the glyph and memory fragment before you go to your own marker.

Get close to confirm they are marking a grave site.

Note: Not every comm ball will mark a grave, players tend to mark other stuff too (like Sentinel Pillars).

If you get close and see it is a grave but the yellow Atlas symbol doesn't show up on your ship compass, then you've already done that one.

If you don't get up to 16, or don't want to use other's markers, just go and manually mark your own site with a Base or Save Beacon, fly back into space and summon the Anomaly, quit the mission and then start it again. You'll get a new site marked. Go to your previously marked site first and harvest it, uplift your marker (or delete the Base) then go and mark your new site, Rinse and repeat.

I've already grabbed 4 in 40 minutes including the time it has taken to document it all.
I really appreciate all of the help, and feedback.
NMS really does have a great community. 👍🏻🚀
I returned to the game after a year. I do not have the Artemis mission any more. I don't know if it was completed, or if it just vanished; but I don't have the quest and in the 60 hours I have played since I returned there has been no sign of this quest chain.
I have also been checking Space Stations for the travelers, and have encountered only 1-2 of them in the 60 hours of play, across maybe two dozen different systems. So at this rate it is going to take me hundreds of hours to get all the glyphs.
How do I restart the Artemis mission if completing that is supposed to give me all the glyphs?
Expeditions aside, which do have their own log scripts until the respective expedition had concluded, the normal paths will resume.
There are several parts to it, so you need to look at the main quest area in the log. if there is another mission besides the Atlas Path, pick that one. It sounds to me like you never finished it but don't know what to look for in the log. Google the Artemis mission and there will be a link that lists all the names of the mission parts that constitute "The Artemis series".
