weird pirate freighter color change

so I just claimed a pirate freighter from the attack the dreadnought event. i painted it up and everything was fine until for some reason the hanger part changed colors. it was a solid color before and after i took it. and even after i painted the ship it stayed the same until i re summoned it and then it had a pale green pattern on it. is this a bug or something to do wit the ship seed? i have before and after pictures showing that it was NOT this way before acquisition and after painting as well.

Basically is there nothing i can do about this? do i have to go find another ship or is this a bug and i dont need to worry

Exit the game completely, relaunch again and load that save. Whatever colour the hangar presents at that point is its 'true' colour and unless I am very much mistaken this particular aspect of your freighter cannot be changed even if the rest has been repainted.

and what yick. I'd be unpleased too. Perhaps the reflection from the planet/sun is giving off this pale green trim. What happens when you go to a different colored system?

Ive restarted the game/ jumped to a new system and re painted the green stays. looks like there is no way to tell what color the hanger will be untill after you claim it and re summon it.

this part of the freighter can NOT be re painted. i finally thought i found a solid white one untill what i showed happend.
