NMS AI coding?

Yeah, it's plain they do not use AI.

AI is trained on the work which has been done before.

Whereas, if you play NMS, you know whoever developed it has clearly never seen a proper UI before.

Why would you use AI for something as complex as designing a UI? It would make a lot more sense if it was used to generate quests or to help with some dumb parts of the code, but AI is definitely not ready to tackle something like UI.

From all I have read and the programmers I know that use AI, it is an okay tool to do a lot of the grunt coding upfront (with a lot of input from the user on improving iterations of the code) but it is not a very sophisticated method. Even when it saves you some time you still have to refine the resulting code.

I could see it replacing some junior programmers in a big shop (1000+) but not in a small shop like HG (appx 40 staff).
