Strange New Icon I've Never Seen

I was in what I call my "home system" and used the anomaly detector and it spawned a black hole. I went ahead and went through and wasn't taken very far. I consulted the star chart, and noticed that the neighboring system had a strange new icon next to it that I've never seen.

I've gone to this system and have looked at every planet. I cannot find what it means anywhere and have tried to google it extensively. Does anyone know what this icon means?

(in case this image doesn't work bc I'm new to this, this is an icon with a blue border and appears to have three bullets in a triangle formation within said diamond.

These icons signify location of your frigates (on their mission).

I had always only seen the frigate icon appear where they were on a mission at. Did they maybe update it?

Yes, the last patch changed the icon used. They didn't change how and where the icons appear, but they did change the icon for it. It used to use the same icon that is used to show where your freighter is.
