So what is "atlas eternal"
Playing on an save that had "The atlas path" completed before the omega update.

"Atlas eternal" is in my log and takes me to seemingly endless new stations for an atlas word reward.

Is the atlas questline over on this save ? Do I have to make a new save to do the new questline ?

Yes to both.

Damn.

Next question, are there new rewards or significant additions to the save upon completing the new quest ? (am I missing anything on that save, except the story content ?)

You get a choice at the end, a different reward if you pick the other option. Or so I hear.

I'll probably find out for myself in due course... with the next Expedition, perhaps.

So you know how after you finish the Atlas quest and get the two modules and create a star then you hop to a new galaxy, then damn, the atlas quest would pop up again, ad nauseum. Now after you complete the quest it's different. You get the Atlas Eternal. It will also be on your old saves iirc. I think they changed the name as it did confuse new players to see the same quest name come back. It certainly never made sense to me. Check it out.
