Cross Save from PS5 to PC

Is there any way to transfer my ps5 save to pc? i want to buy this game on steam but i cba to lose everything i had on console...

The save editor on PC is probably the best way to recreate your save. With that being said it is nice for testing to find your existing bases on the other account and visit etc.

so I cant transfer my old bases? that's exactly what i didnt want to lose lol. so many hours wasted on my main base...

If you are explicitly playing the PS5 version (and not the PS4 version) on your PS5, then I'm fairly certain that the answer is 'no'. The PS5 save files are encrypted and tied to your PSN account, based on what others have said when this same question has been asked (repeatedly) in the NMS subreddit.

If you're playing the PS4 version on PS5, then you can convert, though there's a few steps required. Both Nom Nom save editor and Save Wizard sites have information that may help you with that if it is applicable to your situation.

yes, unfortunally i'm talking about the ps5 version.
we're in 2024, chips are being implated in people's brains. we have self driving cars. we have splitted the atom. WHY CANT I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TRANSFER MY PS5 SAVE TO PC!??!?!!?

The way I understand it, it's because Sony doesn't want you to be able to manipulate the save files on their console. It's all on them.

Game "saves" should not be tied to client, the saves should be on NMS servers .... they were cheap there ...
