It is difficult to say without knowing the specific bugs you are talking about, but probably not. MP is not a HG priority for this game
NMS MP is mostly playing solo together... there's no real attempt to sync weather, for one thing... then if you are playing a different level then someone on your team, you'll see different things... weather being one... the various curiosities being another...

for example, in Normal mode you'll find Curious Deposits... switch to Survival mode and those CDs will change to the red/pink balls with the spikes that try to kill ya... switch back to Normal and you have CDs again...

that's one example... there are others... the point is there's a lot of variation in NMS and how each of us play our game... should HG force all MP to be done at the lowest denominator of the team or force everyone into Normal mode while on a team? should Survival players get large inventory slots while on a team or should everyone get the limited ones?

if NMS had been fully designed with MP in mind, we wouldn't even be reading this... again...
Thank you - the solo together feel is what existed before and I liked the potential but wanted true coop.
Co-op would need to be its own game mode with the specific ruleset required for it to work properly and a way to facilitate synchronization between the co-op players.
While it may add some more longevity to the game, I don't really see it coming.
Check back after Light No Fire is released. That game will probably have true co-op and some of those features might find their way to NMS.
