Don't even get me started on that "Irwin Allen" Doctor Smith Clone named Stanley H. Tweedle.
Man, Babylon 5 was THE stuff when it came to scifi TV. Still can never forgive Fox for cancelling it one season shy of completion, kinda like how they cancelled Firefly despite how people loved it. Suits and Ties never did know what was good, same with a lot of Triple A game publishers, actually.
There's not been anything quite like it. Thankfully, the boxed sets are not too hard to find, though finding the time to watch all five seasons of it is hard, lol.
I don't watch TV anymore, to be honest (and haven't for a number of years ever since the CSI shows got cancelled). I don't even HAVE TV service, just internet. And the TVs that I have are just sitting around collecting dust except for the one TV I have hooked up to a laptop for the sole purpose of playing camera feeds of birds for my cat to watch when he gets bored, lol.
So the unique thing about Lexx it started out as a mini series on The Movie Channel which was owned by Showtime called Tales from a Parallel. It has Malcolm Mcdowell, Rutger Hauer, Tim Curry and more was pretty unique for its time.
Lexx the TV show which came on years later was meh. Though I liked season 1 of the tv show (Does not unique the mini series though many consider that season 1)
I did not like the whole Fire and Water season and the final season which was an entire filler season with only a couple impactful moments.
I also do not have "tv service", have not for 20 years, but I do watch some streaming services. I only watch them on free trials I get through various deals. For example, I can order pizza here from Pizza Hut and get a free week up to 30 days from Amazon Prime, Hulu, Paramount etc.
Since I am retired I can watch everything I want to watch in the free allotted time.
