'cannot connect to multiplayer network'

Ever since my old computer, I've had this issue with multiplayer. I've tried many online solutions, but NOTHING is working. I got a new PC now, and it's STILL Happening. I don't know what to do. Complete system re installations do nothing. It's not my internet, it works fine for every other game I have. I don't know what to do, I want to play this game with my friend.

Do you use a VPN, by any chance? If you run the game with a VPN on, then you'll see no one in the Anomaly. I don't know for sure that it interferes with playing with friends, since that isn't something I do, but it's the only thing I can think of off the top of my head.

No, it's a brand new computer setup for windows 11. Unless it has a built-in thing, I don't have a VPN. I've never messed around with those.

Right mouse click at the windows symbol and choose Run, there type wf.msc and follow the instruction below.

1. Window after wf.msc

This looks like it's for Playstation maybe, and I'm on Steam. Also, no idea what he's doing beyond switching between tabs or something?

I'm at my wits end. For now, just writing off No Mans Sky as a wasted purchase with only 10 hours of singleplayer on it.
