go to moons, identify all fauna. get them nanites. with 2850 if im not mistaken, you copy your main save ship. i did. it was a breeze from there. already finished this thing

Oh yeah, did anyone else notice you can't install tech into your Freighter? I grabbed an upgrade on my Derelict run and it won't let me install. Just the Expedition or new bug?

That would explain why when I inspected the reward freighter it had a matter beam (which I was happy to see, since unlocking it takes a bunch of SFM), and then the actual freighter I got had nothing. I also haven't seen the usual "Introduction to Freighters" mission start, so the Frigate Fuel blueprint is still locked as well. At least you do still get the refiner room unlocked, which saves spending 30+ salvaged data to get the ground base version of the 3-slot refiner.

Hmmm sadly I reloaded my save once it converted to "normal" and I still could NOT install that Freighter upgrade :(

I haven't looked at the rooms list yet, but the Frigate Fuel BP was available, and yes, the same thing happened to me with the matter beam. @Geldric, same with Freighter tech, can't install 'em.

Yeah just submitted a ticket w/my save files. Hopefully they will get it patched up for next Exp build
